The Burlington Rams Youth Football League has announced that they will be merging their teams with the Winooski Spartans Youth Football League to form a merged program for the Fall 2021 season.
The Burlington Rams Youth Football League is excited to be back playing football this Fall after a hybrid season last year due to the covid-19 pandemic restrictions. The Winooski Spartans; ran by the City of Winooski, didn’t hold any football activities in the Fall of 2020. The Winooski Parks and Recreation made the decision to discontinue their Fall football programs this year.
The combination of the two teams will provide outstanding opportunities for the youth players in both communities. All levels will be offered; Flag Football (Grades 1-4), Introduction to Tackle (Grades 5-6), Tackle Football (Grades 7-8). The practices and games will be held in a mutually convenient location.
